Our Team
The Ovarian Cancer Center’s clinicians and researchers are specialists in their respective fields who bring a wealth of expertise in the study and effective treatment of ovarian cancer and related gynecologic diseases.
The center’s director is Dr. Robert E. Bristow, chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Bristow, who holds the university’s first Philip J. DiSaia Chair in Gynecologic Oncology and leads the gynecologic oncology team, has published extensively in the field of ovarian cancer research and is internationally regarded as a leading ovarian cancer surgeon.
The multidisciplinary team includes gynecology oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, epidemiologists and medical researchers, as well as highly skilled nurses, clinical staff and social workers acting in concert to ensure that our leading-edge care is tailored to each patient and her needs.
